Principles
As all professions, coaching also has certain ethical principles that professionals have to keep when working with clients. If you start to work with me, you can count on the following:
Faith
I believe that with a raised awareness you are able to make your life wholer and fuller: I also believe that you have all the talents and determination to do so.
I trust in you as a person who has many un-used possibilities in your life and that you can do much better than what you often think about yourself.
I accept your values and personality. The feedbacks I will give you are in all cases personalized, constructive and solely serve your own interest.
The main focus of the coaching process is what you need to have a fuller life. To define this is not considered "selfishness" but an integral part of the process.
I promise full confidentiality about you say and do during the sessions.
I am committed to start and finish the sessions on time.
I provide support only in areas that I have personally lived through, solved and where I have relevant experience that I can share with other people.
I will avoid meeting you at programs or events before or after the sessions where we would be together outside the context of the professional relationship. If I happen to meet you by accident it is up to you if you want to make contact. All this serves your privacy and maximum progress.
I do not provide medical, investment or any other advice that I am not qualified in.
You have a free choice about doing the homework as well as the content, speed and place of the sessions.
I will never use any of the business ideas received from you to my own personal or professional benefit.
I reserve the right to stop (temporary or permanently) the coaching process if I believe that your problem is outside my area of expertise or clearly cannot be solved in the context of coaching.
I am committed to my own growth and development, I keep contact with other coaches and professional groups, I continuously educate myself and use professional supervision if need be.
